2071 W217602071 Firestone Ride-Rite airbag helper springs have a double convoluted air bag spring that offers maximum load support as well as years of worry-free service. They are installed between the frame of your truck and the suspension, providing load support through the use of air pressure. Specifically designed to maximize the safe load carrying capacity of your vehicle, as well as the stability and ride quality, these Airbags will also help to level off-center loads (side to side adjustment) and help reduce the suspension fatigue on leaf springs (caused by permanently sagging). An optional air control kit (air compressor kit) can be added (but is not required) giving you the additional convenience of letting you fill your airbags from the comfort of your seat. Air Bags will increase your level load capacity, however keep in mind that you should NEVER exceed the vehicles Recommended Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR)}. Fits: 1990 - 1996 Ford Bronco, 1992 - 1996 Ford F-150 Trucks, 1994 - 1998 Oshkosh M-Line & X-Line, 1973 - 1987 Chevrolet/GMC C/K Series 10 & 20 and 1500/2500 Trucks, 1967 - 1987 Chevrolet/GMC C/K Series 30 & 3500 Trucks; excluding Cab & Chassis, 1981 - 2002 Dodge Ram 1500/2500/3500 Trucks (1500/2500 with standard height), 1969 - 1980 Dodge Full Size D100/D150/D200/D250/D300/D350 Trucks; (D300/D350 excluding Cab & Chassis), 1981 - 1993 Dodge Ram D100/D150/D200/D250/D300/D350 Trucks; (D350 excluding Cab & Chassis), 1968 - 1983 Ford F-100/F-150/F-250/F350 Trucks, 1984 - 1991 Ford F-150/F-250/F-350 Trucks.
