This Breakaway Switch assembly comes with a 48 inch Cable and Nylon Pin Assembly. The completely sealed breakaway will automatically set your trailer brakes in case of accidental trailer breakaway and is required by law in some states. It is for emergency use only, it is NOT to be used to lock trailer brakes when parked or stored. It is made with a reinforced nylon case and weld-able metal tab, the cable and nylon pin assembly and are rust and corrosion free. (Uses Bargmans #54-85-002 replacement pin and cable). Dimensions: (Metal Base) 4-1/4 inch x 1-1/2 inch, metal end has a round hole for pull pin, (Nylon case) 3 inch x 3/4 inch x 1-1/2 inch and is squared off and (Cable) 48 inch Long. 1 complete kit per packge.
