It has an aluminum slider and fiberglass handle combination that ensures the pole is better balanced and more rigid when telescoped out, while the aluminum slider is anodized to help prevent rust. You get a large rubber hand grip, a die cast metal universal threaded end that fits most standard threaded tools and a Lok-Thread on the threaded end that prevents roller frames and tools from loosening during use.
